Commitment to Social Justice

We understand and continue to educate ourselves on the cultural, societal, political, and systemic factors which have historically impacted marginalized communities including

(but not limited to): black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC); lesbian, gay,

bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA+) persons; immigrants;

and other oppressed groups of people.

We see you. We stand with you.

Founder/Owner

Kevin R. Budd, MS, LLC, NCC, MT-BC (he/they) is passionate about the intersectionality of mental health, relationships, culture, and music. Kevin strives to develop accessible, innovative, and culturally-informed professional development opportunities for music therapists, mental health providers, and educators.

In addition to his over eight years of direct clinical experiences as a board-certified music therapist, Kevin has spent a majority of his adult life supporting the development of various programs including establishing a music therapy service line as part of the Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology at City of Hope sites in Southern California, serving on the executive board of the Western Region of the American Music Therapy Association, expanding expressive therapy services within mental health and educational-partnered settings at Children's Hospital of Orange County, and presenting to schools, agencies, donors, organizations, and associations on the need for accessible, creative, and holistic healthcare.
